PLANTED IN 1910
phinca lali
Single Vineyard
Phinca Lali is the oldest vineyard in our care, planted in 1910 and named after David’s mother, affectionately known as Lali.
This special parcel, one of the few passed down to David through his family, carries the legacy of generations dedicated to the land.
Nestled on a natural slope that follows the land’s contours, this biodynamically farmed vineyard is worked by plow horses and remains isolated from neighboring parcels.
Its soils are unique—a deep calcareous sandstone with a high level of crystalline decomposition, providing the vines with a distinct and rare foundation.
Planted with Tempranillo and Viura, Phinca Lali is a single-vineyard wine that matures in French oak, offering a true expression of its exceptional terroir and the care and commitment invested in its cultivation.

WINES THAT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES
Within each subzone, we have vineyards that possess something special. Once vinified, our wines aspire to communicate their geographic, temporal, historical, and cultural origins. They capture the essence of their environment, including the soil, surroundings, sun exposure, and microclimate, resulting in wines that embody the fragance of flowers, mediterranean herbs, and the natural surroundings of the wines.
