Bhilar, the Basque name for our village, reflects not just a place but a connection to the land. These vineyards, which David has worked since childhood, form the foundation of his deep understanding of this unique terrain.

This village wine is crafted from younger biodynamic parcels rooted in the silty and sandy limestone soils surrounding Bhilar. Biodynamic farming allows the roots to grow deep into the earth, free from chemical intervention, offering a true reflection of the land’s character.

The wines—produced in both red and white expressions—are blends from these parcels, spending time in both concrete and oak during their year in the winery. This careful balance preserves freshness while adding complexity and texture, creating wines that speak to the harmony between our traditions and the terroir.
